OUTREACH PUBLICATIONS
Our Art Director can work with you to create professional-quality outreach publications to promote your group and your park. These brochures feature park maps, full-color photographs, historical information about your group and park, and contact information for getting involved. We also provide support for programming and seasonal events through calendars and promotional postcards.
We can provide small grants through the Capacity Fund to cover publication costs and work with you to produce your publication, from developing a concept to creating a distribution plan.
Promotional Park Materials
Map & Guides
Map & Guide brochures contain images of a neighborhood park, text describing its history, ongoing activities, park features, and a detailed map of the park. A central feature of our brochures is a mail-in business reply card, which helps build the local and citywide parks constituency. These brochures are distributed by the parks group through local stores and by group mailings.

Membership Brochures
Membership brochures promote the efforts of specific parks groups, while helping more advanced groups become financially sustainable. In addition to mailing the brochures to residents surrounding their park, groups can distribute it—along with personalized letters—to a new list of potential supporters, consisting of contacts of past supporters, former area residents, and sponsors of park-related activities.
Event Calendars and Postcards
For groups seeking additional publicity for their busy programming season, we produce event calendars and postcards groups can use to organize and promote activities. Like our individual park brochures, these marketing tools include helpful numbers, historical text, photos, and maps.
